Service Project

The San Francisco Stake is celebrating its 80th birthday this month. We have several things going on like ward picnics, firesides and service projects. Last Saturday Peter and I, along with many church members, helped clean up some streets in Chinatown that were named after certain people/things in the Church. There was Pratt street and Brooklyn street (after the ship Brooklyn that some LDS members sailed on to get to California). Peter and I helped paint over some graffiti on another street called Quincy. We had a great time serving and getting to know people from all over the San Francisco area.

We had a fun 4th of July. We got together with two couple who are our best friends out here (Jon, Summer and their kids and Brandon and Jessie). We went to the Douglas County fair for dinner and fireworks. Afterwards we went back to Jon and Summer's and had our own great firework show put on by the 3 guys. I think the adults had more fun than the kids, but they had a great time too! We wish we could have spent that day with all of you.
These summer days really are going by way too fast! The kids keep asking when the Stahmann's are coming home and when we're going to move to Idaho. Time is such a stranger to our kids, except they think that everything takes way too long!!

Macie is just a gem. She really is
a perfect fourth child! She can roll
and scoot anywhere she wants
now, as well as sit up. She is
growing way too fast. (I know
it's cliche but true!)

Summer Fun!

"I just wanted to take a bath and you were taking too long to get me in!"

"Don't worry Hannah, Jeff and Hailey, we're taking really good care of your swings!"

Elizabeth's new trick

Elizabeth has been rolling since July 6th

and all of the sudden she seems so big!

SUMMER FUN WITH COUSINS

We had a fun visit with Paul and Emily and their family. The first thing Hannah asked was if she could go swimming. Hannah didn't mind the water temperature being 82 degrees so after dinner some of the kids jumped in and swam until dark. Later we roasted marshmallows and had smores. Their visit was too short and we were sad to say goodbye Thursday afternoon!

Action Shot!

Say Cheese!

Jeff, the master at catching frogs, he's the only one who can reach his hand in a bush (in the dark) and pull out a huge toad!!!

First thing Hannah wanted to do Thursday Morning was go swimming!
