Nauvoo Reunion

I had a great time reuniting with some of my Nauvoo friends the last day of my Idaho/Utah trip. We met up at Temple square and watched the Joseph Smith video together. We also had a barbecue that night in Provo and although I couldn't stay for long I really had a good time. The one thing I regret is that I didn't take more pictures! The ones here are with my good Nauvoo friend Tyson and his wife Cambria whose due date was the day of the reunion. Do you guys have a baby yet?

I love Nauvoo!

Trip to Idaho

Chloe and I went out to Idaho Falls last weekend. We got to be there for beautiful Leah's baby blessing and we stayed for the week to help out Amy. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of work taking care of three babies, but they are sure worth it. We wish we could live close to both sides of the family, but we are grateful to be near the Fjeldsted's and that we get to see you all as often as we do.

Leah's Blessing

YUMMY!

Here is Chloe eating Paca's corn on the cob... so good!

Cute Cousins!

Chloe just LOVED her cousin Emma. Everytime she came into the room Chloe would shake with excitement. I don' t think Emma really noticed Chloe too much at first but within a couple of days she started to play with her more and she called her "Cokey" which was SOOO CUTE! We sure miss Amy and her girls!

Our trip out to Utah

August 16, 2008 This is the day after my 10-year highschool reunion. They had a family day at the park so that people who weren't able to make it the night before could bring their kids. It was so fun! My two best friends from highschool are Natalie Griffith (front in the solid red) and Wendi Bulkley(back in the black shirt). I had such a blast! Andy was a good sport hanging out until I wanted to leave. He didn't even try to rush me out. I told him that I was not leaving early so he was more than welcome to bring another car but he didn't! I think he enjoyed it too since he's good friends with Natalie's and Wendi's husbands.
August 21, 2008 We had a great time in Utah! Our little family went out for my 10-year highschool reunion. Andy was lucky enough to work while we were there so he didn't have to take time off. We were there nearly a week. My Mom took me and the boys to "This is the Place Heritate Park." I had never been there before but this "choo choo" ride was definitely the highlight. Too bad their Daddy missed out.

I had my ultrasound on August 11th and found out that we are having a baby girl! She was so dang cute during the ultrasound and super active. It was fun to watch her moving EVERYWHERE and watch her tiny little heart beating. We are excited that we are having a girl and I'm ready to start sewing and painting, etc. Look at my belly! I swear it has doubled in size since this picture was taken one week ago. Maybe I ate too much while I was on vacation.

Playing Pioneers

Recently Tessa, Hannah & Hailey were playing "Pioneers". Just thought you'd like to see their costumes. Hannah is really good at putting all of this together. They had created a covered wagon and at one point Hunter and Chase were the horses. It was really cute. I wish I could would have captured that moment. The funny part was that Hunter wasn't a very tame horse so he was always moving when he wasn't supposed to. The girls were pretty patient with him!

Service Project

The San Francisco Stake is celebrating its 80th birthday this month. We have several things going on like ward picnics, firesides and service projects. Last Saturday Peter and I, along with many church members, helped clean up some streets in Chinatown that were named after certain people/things in the Church. There was Pratt street and Brooklyn street (after the ship Brooklyn that some LDS members sailed on to get to California). Peter and I helped paint over some graffiti on another street called Quincy. We had a great time serving and getting to know people from all over the San Francisco area.

We had a fun 4th of July. We got together with two couple who are our best friends out here (Jon, Summer and their kids and Brandon and Jessie). We went to the Douglas County fair for dinner and fireworks. Afterwards we went back to Jon and Summer's and had our own great firework show put on by the 3 guys. I think the adults had more fun than the kids, but they had a great time too! We wish we could have spent that day with all of you.
These summer days really are going by way too fast! The kids keep asking when the Stahmann's are coming home and when we're going to move to Idaho. Time is such a stranger to our kids, except they think that everything takes way too long!!

Macie is just a gem. She really is
a perfect fourth child! She can roll
and scoot anywhere she wants
now, as well as sit up. She is
growing way too fast. (I know
it's cliche but true!)

Summer Fun!

"I just wanted to take a bath and you were taking too long to get me in!"

"Don't worry Hannah, Jeff and Hailey, we're taking really good care of your swings!"

Elizabeth's new trick

Elizabeth has been rolling since July 6th

and all of the sudden she seems so big!

SUMMER FUN WITH COUSINS

We had a fun visit with Paul and Emily and their family. The first thing Hannah asked was if she could go swimming. Hannah didn't mind the water temperature being 82 degrees so after dinner some of the kids jumped in and swam until dark. Later we roasted marshmallows and had smores. Their visit was too short and we were sad to say goodbye Thursday afternoon!

Action Shot!

Say Cheese!

Jeff, the master at catching frogs, he's the only one who can reach his hand in a bush (in the dark) and pull out a huge toad!!!

First thing Hannah wanted to do Thursday Morning was go swimming!
